چکیده

Introduction: Accidental hypothermia occurs very rarely. Japan experienced hypothermic victims in the 2011 earthquake and tsunami disaster. In northern Japan, where largest class of earthquakes tsunamis are estimated, study for countermeasures has been advanced. The progression varies significantly by individual differences environmental factors, it is considered to be challenging assess its damage. We present findings that can basis damage estimation from data mountain rescue. Method: From 2002 2020, we examined ten fatal cases witnessed respiratory arrest (HWRA) companions, which led subsequent cardiac among 164 collected time course deceased rescue records calculated cold exposure symptom, incapable, HWRA. Temperature wind speed were extrapolated nearby AMEDAS upper-air weather records, chill index (WCI) was calculated. Results: obtained seven ten, five males two females between 21 67 years old. conditions placed -5 -30°C WCI. shortest incapacity 65 minutes, 42.9% (3/7) within 180 fastest HWRA 90 with 57.1% (4/7) 10 12 half hours. Conclusion: For disaster evacuation measures, both evacuees rescuers need specific indicators refer to. little but valuable data, consider hours necessary lifesaving similar conditions. Additionally, increasing number become incapacitated 1-3 information considering location shelter plan.

Visual Analytics for Dynamic Evacuation Planning

We use visual analytics to assist human experts in the verification of evacuation schedules and enable them to identify the bottle-necks in building evacuation. The user can change parameters, such as the number of occupants present in the rooms, the parametric settings for fire simulation, the building design, etc. and analyze their effect on evacuation. Visualization of the people flow in the...

Utilizing Roadmaps in Evacuation Planning*

In this paper we describe utilization of roadmaps in a general evacuation planning system for complex 3D environments. The problem consists of heterogeneous groups of agents whose behaviors and properties affect usage of the environment when creating evacuation plans. This planning system includes behaviors for those agents evacuating and directors that may be guiding the agents to improve evac...

A two-stage mathematical model for evacuation planning and relief logistics in a response phase

Crises and natural disasters are always existed in human history, and continue to exist in the future; therefore, people are always affected by these natural disasters. Hence, evacuation planning after natural disasters (e.g., earthquakes, floods, tsunamis, fire, storms, warfare and nuclear explosions) is vital. Given that natural disasters cause irreparable financial loss and the loss of life ...

Survey on Using GIS in Evacuation Planning

Natural crises form a big threat on environment; these crises mean the loss of enterprises and individuals, and therefore losses in the sum total of community development. Management to these crises is required through a crisis management plan to control the crises before, during, and after the event. One of the most needed things to consider during preparing the crisis management plan is prepa...
